Sunny was disowned by his family when he was 17 as he was selling drugs to other teenagers and causing crimes.  He met Susan when he was 22.  They became lovers when Sunny was 23.  Now he is a security guard in a disco in Dublin.
One day, when Susan was 22, she suddenly told Sunny that; she didn't want to sell drugs any more.  She didn't give him the reason.  She just turned her life around and joined a nurse course and worked very hard.  Nobody knows anything about her past.  In the teachers' eyes, Susan Smith was a good student.  She did everything perfect.  Susan was the achiever in her class.  She got perfect marks to pass her examinations.  She became a nurse when she was 24.
Susan is now  clean and has a great job, while Sunny is a security guard in a disco and is still selling drugs to the teenagers.  Susan wants to make him become a good guy but he doesn't listen to Susan.  Sunny wants to find out what made Susan to change her life.  Susan doesn't love Sunny any more, she wants to split up with him, but she doesn't tell him.  She just keeps a distance from him.  Sunny feels that but he doesn't want to.  He loves Susan very much.  He never felt so strongly about a person in his entire life, so he blackmails Susan - if she splits up with him, he will inform her hospital about her secret.
Susan doesn't want to lose her job.  She has just started her new life.  Many patients like her and the head nurse appreciates her.  The head nurse is even thinking to give her a promotion!  She can't lose her job at this moment.  It wasn't easy for her to change her life so Susan agrees to see Sunny.  Sunny is very happy to hear about this.  He thinks that this means they can continue with their relationship and they will get married someday in the future.  Also, he believes that blackmailing Susan with her secret was the smartest decision he has ever made in his life.
Their meeting is in a coffee shop.  Sunny asks Susan why she suddenly turned her life around three years ago.  Susan tells him that on her 22 birthday, she met a boy who told her about his story.  The boy was behind bars because when he was going to sell drugs to a teenager, he was caught by the police.  In the prison, he learnt lots of things that could help him after he left.  After he was out, he found a job but when he was interviewed, the boss couldn't accept that he was behind bars.  They he know that although he had changed, it was hard to get people accept you after you have been the prison.  He didn't want to have another person like him so he now uses he story to those of the teenagers.  The boy told Susan that she still had a chance to change her life before it was too late.  "Don't regret it if you didn't listen to me now when you're in the prison."
After meeting the boy, Susan thought about her life.  Susan tells Sunny very seriously, she wants him to change his mind.  Sunny is very disappointed and he can't believe that Susan just changed her life because of  a story.
A week after the meeting with Sunny, the head of the hospital calls her to his room.  Susan is frightened, she is worried that she will lose her job.  The head of the hospital tells her that he was informed about her past but he doesn't mind.  He tells Susan that everyone also makes mistakes in his or her life.  No matter what they did wrong, the most important that is they realized it and corrected it.  They head of the hospital says that he really appreciates Susan for she corrected her mistakes.  Susan is moved and she didn't lose her job.
