A/N Delay Posting

Hi everyone, posting will be delay for a couple of weeks 🙍 since I am a student and exams are just a few weeks away😭.  This means that I would have to arrange my time for studying instead of blogging.  Hopefully, I'd be able to post another blog on 19th or 20th May.

For my next blog, I am thinking of reviewing the Shadowhunters and I really really want to have a discussion with those of you who are fans of the series so finger crossed🙏.

Finally, I wish you all the best, especially those that have exams soon💪.  Don't be too hard on yourself!!!  Just give it your best shot because if you can say to yourself that you have done your best and have given it everything that you can at the end of the day then that's what matter the most.  Good Luck!!!

A/N New Background - Basílica de la Sagrada Família

For those of you who have noticed, my background has just changed from a poster of a Japanese drama to the famous Sagrada Família.  It is a photo that I have taken on my trip to Barcelona with my friends earlier this year.

Here, just let me offer you some of the information in regards to this impressive basilica.

Basílica de la Sagrada Família is a Roman Catholic church situates in Barcelona.  It is designed by the famous Spanish architect, Antoni Gaudí.  Although the project is still in progress, it has been listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site and Pope Benedict XVI consecrated and proclaimed it a minor basilica, as distinct from a cathedral, which must be the seat of a bishop.  The construction commenced in 1882 and after Gaudí had taken over in 1883, he transformed it with his architectural and engineering style, combining Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms.

In my opinion, the Sagrada Família is an attraction that one must go and visit when they are in Barcelona.  I still remember my reaction when I first saw the building - completely speechless, its beauty took my breath away.  During my visit to Barcelona, I was unable to go in and have a look of the interior design due to time constraints. But, hey there's always next time.

Since the project is not supported by any government or official church source, it is relied on private funding.  There is an entrance fee of €15 for visitors over 11 years of age and children under the age of 11 are free.  The entrance fees collected are used for the construction of the building.

If anyone is ever going to Barcelona,  I highly recommend you to have a look of this stunning church.  I have noticed that there is a McDonald close to the construction site so you would be able to have lunch after your visit.  There are also some Tapas stands just right opposite to the bascilica.  However, please be careful of your bags and money as it is noticed that thefts are common in the area.
